Nathan Lee Hyatt age 70, once a Kennewick resident, died Friday morning at his Yakima home after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Mrs J Hyatt and 14 children, plus two sisters and two brothers. Services were held December 22 at Shaw and Sons in Yakima.

Lee Lampson reported his Chevrolet sedan stolen from Plowman’s cafe around 8 p m Thursday evening. The vehicle was found in Ellensberg and reported by Sheriff George Gray on December 24. Lampson had gone to Ellensberg Wednesday to retrieve his car.

G H Shanafelt, post master, reports Kennewick's Christmas parcel post volume surpassed all prior records as mail volume rose while outgoing parcels stayed similar to last year.
