The Yakima Valley Laymen's Association plans a two and a half year revival campaign across Kennewick to Roslyn. They seek $5000 for a collapsible tabernacle and staff including an evangelist and Bible teacher. Yakima quota is $2500 with meetings set to start mid February led by Rev. C. J. Beal.

Word reached Kennewick this week of the deaths of two former residents in Honolulu Hawaii Mrs W S Haxton died December 2 at the family home after an illness of several months She leaves her husband two sons Lewis and Robert in Kennewick and a son Lloyd in Phoenix Arizona They were early settlers here Miss Margaret Hamilton was accidentally killed at Wahlawa reservoir near Honolulu early this week She had been in Hawaii since June teaching school She is survived by her father in Lewiston Idaho a sister Mrs Rosella Woodward and a brother John in Utah She was 32 years old and a graduate of K E S noted as one of its brightest students and a successful teacher

Knowles Injured in Auto Wreck Near Lewiston
C. S. Knowles, superintendent of construction for Pacific Power and Light Co., sustained serious injuries when his car skidded off the road near Lewiston, struck a telephone pole, rolled, and caught fire. He was pulled from the wreckage and taken to Pomeroy hospital where he regained consciousness at intervals. Mrs Knowles and Mr and Mrs Knowles Sr. were notified as the car was totally destroyed.
