Kennewick Pioneering Mayor Edward Sheppard Dies
Edward Sheppard, Kennewick’s first mayor and longtime drugstore operator, died Monday morning at his Kennewick home after two years of declining health. Born September 15, 1861 in Filmore Minnesota, he moved west in youth and helped found Kennewick over twenty years ago. He is survived by wife Viola Kampf, daughter Ardice Mae a state university sophomore, and son Teddy. Funeral services were held at the family home conducted by Rev. F. N. Morton with a quartet providing music.

Skater Recovers After Unconscious Fall
Lester Larson fell while skating Saturday afternoon and was unconscious until ten o clock that night. He could not recall the accident but was found by Mrs. Larson staggering home with a severe bruise to the head and shoulder.
