Nearly one hundred Kennewick Commercial Club members and guests attended the sixth annual banquet at Hotel Kennewick. The event closed the membership contest between two teams with 59 new names added to the roster. Governor Ernest Lister and R. K. Tiffany were unable to attend.

The Commercial club decides to hold the Christmas Eve tree lighting early to avoid church conflicts. The plan includes a tree from Tum-A-Lum, decorations by P P and L, and a 6 45 to 7 45 program at Second and Yakima streets with singing and a Santa Claus candy distribution for children.
