Benton County Democrats met at the Prosser courthouse to elect officers for a two year term. Roger Records declined re-election as county chair, with W. B. Trice chosen as chairman and Records named state committeeman. Margaret Thompson of Richland was named secretary, with Mirriam Hamilton and Robert Hanson returning to vice chairwoman and state committeewoman posts. A memorial service will be held Sunday at First English Lutheran for Flight Officer Carl Erickson reported missing in action during the Sicilian invasion. Born 1915 in Richland, he entered service in 1942, became a flight officer in 1943, and disappeared after his glider tow line failed off Algeria.

P T A Hosts Christmas Meeting With Songs
Mrs. Charles T. Hatton of Pasco spoke on the innkeeper of Bethlehem at a PTA gathering. Reggie Buck performed two piano pieces while junior high students sang carols. After audience caroling, refreshments were served. The group noted the Sixth War Loan Drive and the elementary school sales totaling about 3700 dollars.
