The Cham ber of Commerce street decorating committee has completed its work adding four large lighted trees and garlands on new light poles. Plowman Celebrates First Anniversary in New Kennewick Café

Nazarene Church Plans Christmas Program and Revival Start

Kennewick player makes state college volleyball honor team
Imogene Rorick of Kennewick was named to the honor volleyball team at the State College of Washington after the season. The senior team won the championship with underclasswomen following in order. Summers Offers Federal Building Site in Chamber Talk
At the chambers suggestion the city offered the Benton street property once bought for a city hall to the federal government. Congressman Summers read a letter stating he submitted the offer to the interior secretary and urged acceptance. Legion secures funds for Plymouth road relief work
The American Legion has obtained 1800 from the state highway fund designated as emergency relief to finish the Plymouth road and install guard rails from Kennewick to Kiona. Non members may work on the project if they are destitute and have families, for ten day periods. Applications go to the local Chamber secretary for tickets. Fred Mills of the Legion announced that state highway department workers will donate a day’s wages for December January and February totaling over 60000 to relief efforts.
