Kennewick Active club elected officers for the ensuing year on Tuesday evening. Don Doyle was chosen president, Bill Reid vice president, Hal Clark second vice president, John Carlich secretary, and Don Skirving treasurer. Trustees named were W. Pulliam Brown and Charles Fox for one year, with Jim Magnuson and Joe Osborne serving six months.
Pastor John B. Coan of the local Methodist church attends the biannual Federal Council of Churches gathering on the Pacific Coast. The three day sessions attract representatives from many denominations with speakers expected from Germany and the United States including Martin Niemoeller David Lilienthal and John Foster Dulles among others.

Vera Sharlett McComb and her son Lawrence Dell McComb died Sunday after a Hudson pickup crashed into a parked truck on Eby road near Pasco. Funeral services were held for the pair at Assembly of God Church in Kennewick with burial at Wenatchee.
Children of the Elementary school will present a Christmas program at the regular Parent-Teacher Association meeting on Wednesday Dec 11 at 8 pm in the High School auditorium. Following the program refreshments will be served by the 4th grade mothers.

The Episcopal Junior Guild Ba zaar committee met at Goldie Andersons home to finalize plans for a sale of food fancy work and miscellaneous items. Elsie Richmond chaired setting the bazaar for 10 oclock Saturday in Shirley's Beauty Salon with Mrs Anderson Mrs Vera Johnson and Mrs Helen Eakin completing the committee.

William Joseph Clark, 44, died suddenly Monday after a hospital stay. A service was held Tuesday at Mueller Chapel with Rev. Walter Crownover officiating. Clark, once a restaurant chain operator, lived in Hanford since 1943 and left a widow, Gertrude Viola Clark.

Dewar and Jack Takin tied Richland as vice chairmen, with Walt Sommers in Prosser as secretary treasurer. The group plans a county wide Republican rally and a Lincoln Day banquet. Committee members noted a Cain election workers meeting in Ellensburg and Paul Sampson of Prosser attended. Farley urged full attendance at the January 11 county committee meeting at the Richland Recreation Hall for important business.
