North Bank highway survey boosted by state budget item
The State Highway department allocates 5000 for a new survey around Rock Creek canyon bottleneck east of the Goodnow Hills and plans 18 miles of road oiling east of Maryhill. Senator Earl S. Two Kennewick youths were hurt Wednesday evening when their car struck the irrigation canal bridge railing on Washington Street. One driver Jack Sheppard Jr lost control while passing a truck. Bob Halligan suffered facial cuts and neck pain, but his condition was improving with shock and bruises. X-rays planned. Damages to the car were about 300 dollars. one door torn off.
