Miss Berg Weds Sgt Chester Turner in Yakima Nuptials
Miss Ella Berg married Sgt. Chester Turner of Outlook at her mother’s home on Nob Hill Yakima Tuesday evening July 23. The couple honeymooned on the Sound before Turner ships from Camp Jackson Florida to be sent overseas. Mrs. Turner taught in Kennewick Schools last year and plans to return for the next term.

Mrs. E F Kemp aged 67 of Fruitvale died suddenly of heart failure in an auto last Thursday night while en route to Kennewick for treatment. She is survived by her husband a daughter at home and a son who came from Portland with his wife for the funeral. Settlement Near For Finley Drainage District Warrants
After years of litigation the Finley Drainage District No. 2 settlement will pay warrant holders face value with no interest. About 90 percent consented to the compromise, and property owners are being urged to approve. The district was created in 1908 to reclaim land near Kennewick Finley. a later district absorbed its debts and levies, avoiding costly new surveys and rulings. The final agreement saves property owners thousands of dollars while paying old liabilities from the 1908 1909 warrants.

P H Boesche of Spokane who ran Lynch's store since Mr Lynch left for Y M C A war service has sold the stock to the Lead er Store of Colville. The new owners will ship the stock to Colville at once and close the Kennewick store. B F Nicholas of Colville closed the deal here last week and the Trivoice is being taken with stock to be cashed and shipped within a few days.
