The Ideal Beach on Dear Lake has seen over $12,000 spent this year on permanent improvements, new buildings, parking, and planting more than 200 trees. A new Ogden to Ideal Beach auto road via Logan Canyon now offers the best Kemmerer to Ogden route, with scenic cars planned next year between Logan and Ideal Beach.

Mountain Home Mart Whelan Expands Sheep Prep and Land Holdings
A Mountain Home man named Whelan recently moved his summer home from Snyder Beatin and has prepared his flock for winter range. He bought a section of state land, built a summer residence, and kept his family there for the season while they attend school in Rock Springs this winter. He also owns 7,000 acres of additional ranges nearby and recently went to Cokeville seeking buck deer without success.

Wanderer Returns From Northern Trip With Sam Potter
Sam Potter, formerly of The Camera force, returns after three months visiting mining camps in Montana and touring North and South Dakota, Minneapolis and St Paul. He then drove a four and coach star in Yellowstone Park out of Norris Basin until centers closed. A fuller description of the park and its wonders may follow next week.
