A powerful electrical storm struck Casper last Monday causing intense rainfall and cloudburst like conditions from fifteen miles west to a few miles east. About sixty telephones went out briefly and roads were damaged while residents, including Uncle Jerry Dain and Pete Heagney, report being knocked about. Heavy rains continued across the county with Alcova hit Friday and a water spout sighting near Lust Cabin Saturday evening.
