Portland Visitors At Mule Shoe Ranch Leave For Home
Visitors from Portland AMOR MILL arrived from Piney on Thursday to see Mrs. Ida E. rigns and daughter Flora who had stayed at the Mule Shoe ranch for two weeks before departing that afternoon. Mr. Smith also left for Salt Lake City with Master Ray iigga who will study there this winter and plans to return within about a week.

An absence of Mrs Nicholson left her house open to a visiting band of Kemmerer bachelors. Prominent local men joined a lively gathering as they enjoyed pop, time and laughter late into the night.
Life term for Mullin and other sentences in Fossil court
Judge D A Craig held a special session sentencing three men to state prison. Dan Mullin got a life term for second degree murder in the death of Abraham Redford. Dr Baldwin received 12 to 15 months for grand larceny. J C Swaith, a colored man, got 18 to 24 months for felonious assault. Sheriff Hansen praised for reducing costs to taxpayers.
