October tickets to Omaha Chicago and St Louis offered at low rates through Bee agents. December and January tickets available for travel to several major cities with meals advertised. Kemmerer market promises appetizing steaks and chops as part of vendor offerings.
A. O. Campbell, division engineer for the Oregon Short Line, visited Kemmerer to study labor conditions. He warned that if Greeks return home to aid their country in any Balkan war, the railroad could face a serious exodus of about 200 workers, potentially delaying double tracking and section work. Japanese and Hindoo workers are also mentioned as current labor forces.

Three men named Mike Brown John Gilbert and Chas Jackson were arrested after a boxcar robbery in the Kemmerer yards Monday evening. Brown escaped. the other two were jailed and later taken to Evanston after waiving exam. A confession linked the trio to stealing about 30 pairs of shoes cached in sage brush. the men intended to sell the loot in town. Sheriff Ward tracked the case noting swift action against the thieves.
A derailment in Nugget canyon Wednesday evening delayed traffic and Train No. 1X by about six hours after a broken beam caused two steel cars to derail. Conductor Bourne supervised the wreck, cleared the passenger cars, and awaited the wrecking train with no injuries reported.
Curse and William Julian traveled through Kemmerer on Wednesday en route to Omaha. They loaded a Fossil shipment of sheep, Curse sending six cars of Bark with Quinn sheep and Julian sending seven cars.
