Contractors Arrive for Moyer Rail Expansion Project
Contractors arrive with equipment cars and laborers to begin the 0 5 L double track and station work at Moyer, serving as the work headquarters on the west end. Crews will expand east and west from Moyer, with a steam shovel mobilizing to widen the embankment between Kemmerer depot and the coal crater and to cut into the hill below the chutes near the big bend as track is laid. Yard improvements include depot freight depot and signal house relocation as preparations speed up to complete double track at Moyer.

Trouble on the Road Fined in Frontier Court
Ernest Colle of Frontier was fined 25 and costs in Judge Rosenberg’s court yesterday. His trouble arose while descending the dugway from Sublet driving a wagon. He met Jack Matthews coming up with a loaded wagon on a narrow strip after dark, and Matthews drove out.
