Miner Killed in Mine No 3 Embankment Accident
Guat Willen Fingish miner at Kemmner Comsee Co No 3 mine was instantly killed last Thursday morning by a fall of coal. He was about 32, leaving a wife and four children in destitution. Funeral held today under the auspices of the United Mine Workers of America at the Kemmerer cemetery.
Wyoming Man Arrested on Fraud Charge
Charles Bask was arrested yesterday by Deputy Sheriff B. J. Wilson on telephone instructions from Evanston Wyoming where Bask is wanted for obtaining money by fraud. The mode of Bask operations is not known here. He is said to have secured more than 100 in the Weombig town before coming to Ouden. The prisoner expects to settle the trouble amicably.
