The Postoffice Department will close Halfway’s post office unless a qualified candidate for postmaster is found. Representative Mondell and Romney have been notified of the renig nation of the local postmaster. The department offers to share a candidate’s home to avoid inconvenience to patrons.
Mrs Phillip Hussar reports good gardening at their ranch three miles north of Sublet. They hay and experiment with grain shows promise and irrigation from a spring supports the hay meadow as they plan more grain next year. The couple notes encouraging results and ongoing farming improvements.
