The Postoffice Department will discontinue the Halfway office if no suitable postmaster candidate is found. Representative Mondell and Romney have been notified of the renig nation at Halfway and will share the home of any willing to accept the post, to avoid inconveniencing patrons.
Mrs Phillip Hussar reports good progress on their ranch three miles north of Sublet with strong gardening yields this year. They built hay storage and tested new grain trials, expecting expansion next year. Irrigation is planned from a spring to a hay meadow.
