New Draft System Explained in Lincoln County

Old Soldier Charged After Ranger Apprehends McDonald

Forest Ranger Dunn brought 86-year-old Civil War veteran Mr. McDonald to Cokeville last Friday. McDonald, a Gettysburg amputee and longtime hillside trapper near the Kelly ranger station, faced charges for trapping. He was fined $2 on one count and $50 on another by Justice Tom Holland in Kemmerer after authorities were alerted by the state game warden.
