The estate of John Thompson was liquidated this week by Central Trust Co of Lander. A 700 acre ranch sold for 7025 dollars, cattle brought 852.80 per head. L. H. Hennick acquired the ranch, P. W. Jenkins bought the stock. Funds are to be placed at Intercat and go to David Thompson and his children. Mr. Cather and Mr. Hardin of the Trust Co. have overseen arrangements and may depart for Kemmerer.
Archie Jones of Daniel drove a Cadillac to Salt Lake City, stopping Tuesday night in Kemmerer. He was with Hon. C. Bell of Cora, who is to receive his new eight cylinder Cadillac bought through Jones. Belknap, a Fremont County pioneer, served in the last New York Valley legislature.
Mrs. D. H. Scott and daughters arrive by team from the Bronx and take their auto to Rock Springs then Laramie to visit Mr. Scott and relatives in Wiecon sine. They plan a few days in Laramie and a couple months with relatives before Mr. Scott heads to Omaha with a fall beef shipment.
