Major Foote Dies After Notable Public Life
Major Frank M. Foote of Evanston died in Denver at his daughter's home after a long illness. A pioneer of Uinta County and a high‑ranking Mason, he held many public offices including Evanston mayor and territorial official. Interment followed a Masonic service in Cheyenne and a Knight Templar funeral in Evanston. He was born in 1846 in Indiana and married Ida L. Duel in 1873. survivors include his wife and three daughters.
