Notice of contest and final proof hearings in Wyoming

Department of the Interior notices from Evanston Wyoming dated October 1902 announce contest by John Chenett against homestead entry 1818 by Hayes Jenkins for section 24 in township 34 north range 12 west. Hearings set November 17 before J H W Strong and final hearing November 27 before the Register and Receiver in Evanston. Also several final proofs and desert land notices for residents of Big Piney and Stanley with witnesses named and dates in November 1902.

Land Office Notice of Final Proof in Wyoming

Land Office at Evanston Wyoming issues notice that the named settler filed intent to make final proof in support of her claim. Proof will be made before C W Holden A S Commissioner at Ponta nelle Wyoming on December 20 1902 for the H E 2047 and associated sections.
