Shooting at Salt Creek Leaves Man Wounded
At Salt Creek dance hall Saturday night 22-year-old Jobe Gants shot Shorty Russell three times after a quarrel over remarks about a horse and gun theft. Russell, 27, was wounded in the shoulder abdomen and hip area and the fleeing gunman, Gants, has not yet been located.
