Kendrick pushes Wyoming Riverton reclamation amendment
Washington May 18 Senator John B Kendrick introduced an amendment to the sandy civil appropriation bill to fund 150000 for continuing work on Wyoming's Riverton project. The House had approved only 25000. Kendrick cites Indian appropriation act reductions and urges appropriations under reclamation law. He notes royalty funds and impounded development in Wyoming support the request and seeks further adjustments for related Green River basin projects.
