A legislative drafting error allegedly inserted an amendment into the game law during discussion. If upheld it could close big game seasons and hurt state revenue from elk and mountain sheep hunting, while an open duck and goose season remains only Sept 1 to Dec 31, angering Upper Valley sportsmen amid March migrations.
