Wool Buyers Break Up I and II Meet in Chicago
The National Wool Warehouse association held its annual stockholders meeting in Chicago. A strong year end report shows the warehouse moving 25,000,000 pounds of wool for stockholders and plans to grade wool at pens with a per pound handling fee of one cent for consignors and three quarters of a cent for stockholders. Graded wool brings higher prices than sack storage, with Rawlins district wool stored off sacks praised as a Wyoming distinction. Three men from Rawlins and Riverton were named to the board: W. W. Daley, John Mahoney, and J. A. Delfelder.
