Elmo Haggerty returns from Salt Lake city where he spent a month at Holy Cross hospital recovering from injuries suffered in a autumn automobile crash. His jaw bones have knitted and he feels better than before the accident. he plans to travel to Cokeville and then Afton to resume managing his business.

At the Kemmerer hospital board meeting the executive committee reported February gains of 650.26, reducing debt and signaling a debt-free summer with planned grounds work. A large crew from Frontier and Diamondville will start parking areas, lay paths and cement walks, encircling the buildings with a concrete base for a fence. Tree planting and grass maintenance will follow, with completion expected before summer.
The New York Record reports an investigation into 1915 wool production in Wyoming Montana Oregon and Washington. It lists pounds of wool shorn fleeces shrinkage percentages and average fleece weights for each state with Wyoming leading in wool tonnage and varying shrinkage from six tenths to two thirds.
In Lincoln County Wyoming a probate District Court notice states that letters of administration were issued to Carl Cook on March 18 1916 for the estate of Mike Evergis deceased. Creditors must present claims within six months after March 13 1916 or be barred. claims not exhibited within one year from that date are forever barred. Notice is given that the State Board of Land Commissioners and the Commissioner of Public Lands will offer for sale at public auction on April 14, 1916, at 11 a.m. at the Kemmerer courthouse, Lincoln County, Wyoming. Parcels include portions of sections 4 5 8 17 20 and 23 township 23 north range 115 west, totaling about 440 acres. The minimum price is $9.00 per acre with 10 percent cash and up to 18 annual payments at 4 percent interest. Improvements may be purchased by the buyer. The board reserves the right to reject all bids.

Mayor J R Marquis came from Leavenworth Kansas after being summoned by his father's serious illness. Reports of his father's death circulated in Kemmerer but the doctor says Marquis was home for several days before the end. The father, aged over 60, is remembered for a summer in Kemmerer. Interment will be in Newton Iowa.
Jack Matthews extends bookings for spring shearing and dipping at Willow Gap pens, aiming to open between April first and fifth, weather permitting. The site is conveniently located for nearby sheep trails and remains busy with preparations by Matthews and his crew of experienced shearers.
