Snow Slide Canyon Visit From Thayne Residents
Mr and Mrs A W Hebdon and children of Thayne in Star Valley visited Kemmerer over the weekend staying with Fred Hanvey. Hebdon reports heavy winter snow along the Montpelier road and in Snow Slide canyon with snow depths of 60 feet in places. Despite several slides this winter no accidents have been reported and he notes remaining snow in the valley while expecting a prosperous year and ample water. Hebdon runs a ranch near Thayne involved in farming and dairying.

Mrs Reed Hospitalized After Appendicitis Operation
Mrs. John Reed wife of the H Q ranch manager at Sage underwent appendicitis surgery at L D Hospital. Her condition improved until last Thursday when Mr Reed was summoned to Salt Lake after she developed pneumonia symptoms.

Accident at jail injures prisoner Peter Karras
While at the county jail a prisoner slammed a cell door cutting off the end of Peter Karras's finger. Dr. Marquis dressed the wound and Karras, held on grand larceny charges, is not much worse for the accident.
