Elk reports debunked after Jackson Hole visit
State Game Warden Aute P. Wilwom along with Dr. Fronch and Dr. Naylor examined five elk feed grounds near Jackson Hole. They found no epidemic and a death loss under two percent, mainly calves, with elk in good condition despite heavy winter expectations. Credit was given to local researchers and Jackson Hole residents for careful care of the herds.
