In North Wark a land leasing deal ends open range use. Small ranchers gain priority with tracts from 100 to 25 000 acres while big companies receive remaining portions. Leases charge five to eight cents per acre with ten year options and fencing becomes state property upon return. Johnson and Jones companies secure 7000 acres and 3600 acres respectively.
Testimony pours in from Farland and Benterville Va praising Dr King’s New Discovery for consumption coughs and colds. A Virginia man says bronchitis lasted three years until a few bottles cured him.
