Star Valley trip highlights Mormon prosperity and roads
The editor revisits Star Valley Wyoming calling it among the state’s richest farming regions with a thriving Mormon community. The party travels Kemmerer to Cokeville through Bear River canyons, notes muddy roads, a punctured tire, and praises the Michigan-made car and driver Bill Allred for surmounting rugged mountain routes. They visit Afton, the electric plant, and the Burton Creamery while observing rain dampening plans to return.
