Holden Reports Prospects for Average Hay Crop
Clarence Holden rode in from the Fontenelle ranch Saturday and said conditions are good overall with a slight water shortage. He expects about the average hay crop this season. Holden recently suffered an eye injury that threatened his sight, but recovery is going well.

J M Faddies superintendent of Union Pacific Coal Co Cumberland mines visited Kemmerer and reported mines now run about five days weekly with around 400 men and a daily output of 2000 tons. No new development work is planned as old entries are pushed in high grade coal. he believes the mine can be kept productive for many years without abandonment.
