Plumbing firm completes Rathbun bungalow on Fontenelie
B M Dickiey of Sullivan and Bickley plumbers returned Kemmerer last Thursday from Elmer Rathbun ranch on Fontenelie where the work on M Rathbun’s new sit room bungalow with basement was finished. The modern plumbing includes hot and cold water, proper drainage, and a water tank system. The Rathbun property sits about 100 yards east of the old Charley Rathbun ranch, with new barns erected and Eil Schwalben handling painting.

Idaho Seaport Inches Toward Columbia Navigation
The Celia canal recently finished by Uncle Sam above The Dalles on the Oregon side of the Columbia river is the largest lock canal in the West. Eight and a half miles long, costing about $5,000, it makes the Columbia navigable 500 miles from the sea and allows ascent of 480 miles from the Pacific to Lewiston on Snake river.
