Women of Lincoln County to Register for War Service
The State Council for National Defense ordered a statewide women registration for food administration and war service on July 17. Each precinct appoints a registrar and every woman must register at her polling place for two blanks one pledging to Hoover and one for war service. Lists of voters per precinct will be provided by the County Clerk and cross checked with registered names.

Dance and Beach Gathering Draws Local and Evanston Attendees
Last Saturday Kemmerer residents joined an equal number from Evanston and Montpelier at Meal Beach for a social evening. A regular orchestra dance is planned for Saturdays with nightly free dances in the pavilion on other days.
