Department of the Interior announces final proof hearings for James P. Sykes and Ellen Sykes at Fort Washakie Wyoming. Sykes seeks Lot 2 and SW quar of section 4 in township 3 south range 6 west. Witnesses include Thomas O. Benk James Mickelson and others from Hig Piney and Stanley.

The Frontier orchestra traveled to Cumberland to furnish music for the startarianraeie and dances for the Fourth. Local residents attended the Kem eter Fourth grand event and reported a pleasant time. Mr MacMillian and family visited from Cumberland, while Mr Thomas Eynon recovers slowly from an operation in Salt Lake City. Morawnits and family left for Texas to reside permanently, and Castille moved to Frontier joining good citizen society. Andrew Hamilton's child has been very sick with a heavy cold and lung trouble but is improving slowly.
Mr Low Cragg of Durchester Massachusetts credits Tweed Ur King’s New Discovery for curing his wife after years of severe lung trouble and a stubborn cough. The remedy allegedly cleared breathing difficulties and halted persistent coughing, saving her life.
The Fifteenth Annual Institute of Uinta County opened in Evanston public school on June 2 1902 with morning exercises led by Rev Rollo B Brown and Prof Roberts. Sessions covered consciousness theory home duties Bible reading and the role of religious teaching in public schools amid discussions on teacher character neatness and preparation for classroom work.
