Union Pacific Adds Chair Cars to Limited Trains In California
The Union Pacific announces January 17 as the start date for chair cars on Nos. 7 and 5 between Ogden and Los Angeles. Local passengers on Nos. 1 and 2 will no longer be carried. Four trains per day will handle local passengers across western routes with new accommodations including first class service on Nos. 2 and 9. A Valentine dance is planned by the Catholic Choir on February 1 at Kemmerer Opera House with music by the local orchestra and a luncheon served after midnight.
