Warnings Issued on Livestock Brand Filings and Book Delay
The State Board of Livestock commissioners warns brand owners that failure to file within 90 days will violate the law. The warning may affect ownership rights as others could register the brand after the deadline. A new brand book with over 16 000 brands is delayed until early May. Tryon residents should send a dollar to Secretary Thompson to be listed.
