Lincoln County Faces Bridge Cost for Jackson Lake Rise

State Engineer Parshall rejects US Reclamation Service plan to raise Jackson Lake water seventeen feet. A bridge below the lake would be required to replace an existing Ford used by Wilson and Jackson residents, costing about 46 000 to 40 000 dollars. Congress would fund 27 000 if Lincoln County pays the rest, which is unlikely given the county’s new status and lack of funds.
