Oil cake experiment boosts cattle feeding prospects in Pinedale region
H Kelly of Daniel reports progress on feeding oil cake to cattle this winter near Daniel and in the upper Green River country. He recently bought F M Loomis ranch interests, expanding his cattle operations and ranch ownership. Oil cake costs about six dollars per ton per day, offering potential hay savings and quicker stock handling while maintaining solid appetite among the herds. Mrs. Kelly plans to base the family in Kemmerer for the season as children attend school. Cy visits the ranch periodically.
