Snowbound Cattle Train Delayed in Wyoming Snowstorm
Dick Irwin of Merna and crew headed from the Omaha market were stalled for 44 hours near Laramie as heavy snow delayed their shipment. Irwin and partners James Mickel son Oscar Beck Frank Springman and Ed Rowe faced seven foot drifts and a poor market upon arrival. Lewin earned 86 dollars for his tops while the others received 7 dollars each.
