Cattlemen Report Strong Fall Prices Across Ranches
Frank D. Hall arrives from the Cottonwood ranch with a beef drive to Opal and reports many area ranchers sold cattle this fall at solid prices. Charley Hall and Frank sold stock to Monte Bleving of Colorado for 45 and 835, with Bleving planning to move steers to Colorado for feeding. Other buyers and prices noted include Al Osterhy 60 for steers and 635 for cows, Tom ONeil 52 and 834, Walter Fenner 84 for steers and 84.15 for cows, John Angus 85.20 for two steers, Charley Budd 49.50 per head en route to Blevins, and N. P. Nelson and John Stoner of Cokeville with no sale.
