Swanson Visits Kemmerer From Pocatello
Mr. A. H. Bweneon of Pocatello arrived in Kemmerer last Friday morning and stayed in quarantine at the hotel until this morning. Swanson, former manager of the Troy Laundry here, went to Pocatello in July. Influenza conditions in Pocatello have been frightful for six to seven weeks. Swanson assisted in caring for several people but escaped infection himself. He plans to resume business in Pocatello soon.

Former Kemmerer Resident Dies in Utah
Mrs. C. W. Alsop of Standardville Tan died there last Saturday morning of pneumonia. She was a sister of Horace Wowls, manager for Lewis Grocery in Kemmerer. Survived by husband and a small child. Mr. Lewin left Kemmerer Sunday for Salt Lake City, where Mrs. Alsop was buried Monday.

Superintendent J M Faddies dies in Cumberland mine accident
A runaway train car at Cumberland No 1 mine killed Joseph M Faddies, superintendent of the Cumberland mines, instantly as cars rolled five hundred feet and struck a pump. Funeral services were held at Cumberland with burial in Coalville Utah. Survived by wife and three sons and a daughter Velma. Faddies, born in Scotland sixty one years ago tomorrow, was a pioneer coal official respected by workers and community.

Fugitive Bagley Captured Near Kemmerer After Mental Distress
Deputy Spud Vincent rode from Fossil port to pursue Bagley, now named, who traveled toward Sage. Bagley, described as mentally deranged, showed no fear of jail and sought paper and pencil. Authorities consider him a possible secret service asset and plan his return to Idaho for instatement. Parents in Raymond, Idaho, have been notified.

Tolman Will Probate Hearing In Bear Valley
Attorney Carl Cook of Asinn and Mrs L John Tolman traveled to Kem merer to probate the Tolman will of the late Mr Tolman who died recently. The application to probate was heard before District Court Commissioner Mr B Charleimas and a testamentary granted the widow. Tolman was a longtime Bear Valley resident and a prominent stockman and rancher in the county.

Lincoln County Sheriff Auctions Four Thousand Acres at State Land Sale
Lincoln County sheriff confirms sale of about four thousand acres of state land Monday at auction by Bhif Win Callet to 29 buyers. Mr. F A Brezovalk returned from Wichita Park Texas enthusiastic about oil fields and money making prospects. Wichita Falls now a city of 24000 with over 250 homes under construction. About 900 producing wells in the fields with depths from 190 to 1300 feet and an average of 1200 barrels daily. Three refineries already in operation and a fourth nearly finished. Local investors include F H Chapin Dan Sullivan Abner Davis and Brezovnik. Chapin's wells show rising production boosting his bank account.

Private Anderson Discharged From Service
Ovear Anderson enlisted at the local draft office in Cheyenne and is mustered out.
