Coal theft cases stretched across rail routes to Idaho
Special agent Billy Knowles has pursued coal theft from Oregon Short Line trains heading west into Idaho. In Cokeville Joseph Wormald was arrested with a load of coal, pleaded guilty in preliminary steps, and fined $10 plus costs. Knowles then secured a federal warrant and Wormald was held for trial in Kemmerer. Two Idaho arrests nearby also ended in fines and restitution, with venue changes and future federal prosecution planned. Mrs Emily Hainsworth advertises hand-painted china for Christmas.
