County Commissioners Proceedings and Miscellany of 1908

The July session of the Board of County Commissioners with D. A. Rathbun and George A. Solomon present reviewed minutes and audited numerous salaries, expenses, and rebates. They read liquor license applications, inspected horse certificates, and accepted library trustees for Carnegie library. A separate item reports a sheep smothering disaster, a firey warning about a tonic, and resolutions on a lodge death with mourning drapery. Williams, a convict, killed by a guard during an escape attempt at the Uinta County facility.
