No Japanese Doctor Visited Kemmerer Camp
A Toyohara of Oakley, a noted Japanese resident, visited Kemmerer last week and told The Camera he knows of no letter to Gov Kenrick claiming a Japanese doctor practiced medicine at the camp. He says the company doctor handles all medical care for about 40 Japanese workers who pay monthly dues, with no recent deaths beyond a capital case long ago. He called the letter an injustice and said it would be contested.
