Dynamiting Fish Suspects Face Trial in Frontier
Warden Sorenson headed to Labargo to gather evidence against two Finnish residents of Frontier charged with dynamiting fish. In preliminary hearing, three witnesses testified seeing blasts sending water two dozen feet high and about 400 pounds of white fish and greyling were packed away while trout were absent. The case was adjourned two weeks for more evidence as authorities vow to secure a conviction and urge citizens to report dynamite use in streams.
