Osage oil field has another gusher
On Monday the Quinn Oil Company's well in the northwest quadrant of section 20-46-63 gushed after being capped with a forty-six barrel tank set near the well. It released in about forty six minutes at roughly a barrel per minute, with strong flow and no diminishing. The owners expect steady production and plan to connect tankage or a line with sufficient capacity. The well is considered one of the rough in the field and its final test will draw much interest.
