New Time Card Shows Many Changes for Oregon Short Line
The Oregon Short Line issued a new time card with several changes. Nos. 27 and 28 between Kemeter and Pocatello are discontinued, while Nos. 6 and 19 will carry local passengers. No. 6 arrives at 10 45 a m instead of 9 40 a m. Officials gave no reason for dropping the two accommodation trains, but it is believed to cut operating costs. The passenger service on Nos. 6 and 19 offsets the inconvenience from the eliminations.
