The document outlines hunting restrictions and penalties for elk deer mountain sheep and game birds. It details unlawful methods pit traps nets and deadfalls and sets fines imprisonment and license requirements for residents and nonresidents. It also specifies open hunting periods limits per species and license proof rules.
Rock Springs reports the Union Pacific Coal Company shuts its oldest and most valuable mine on Saturday night leaving over 300 workers unemployed. The closure is blamed on high extraction costs to move coal from the face five miles to the surface and may be permanent.
Mrs Willing Hatton of Daniel Wyoming died after a long illness. Born in England Oct 10, she settled in America in 1058 and lived in Wor, Warton, and Kemmerer before moving to Daniel Wye where she built a home and ranch. Survived by husband William Sutton and 36 children, with many living in Kemmerer, Wyo and nearby towns. Funeral at the Methodist church with burial in cemetery. mourners include James and Harry Woolsh H Smalley Ed Willey Will Milliken and Mack Cavary. Sympathy extended from many friends.
