Milton Robinson reports spring opening in the northern county after a mild winter. Cattle fed over, hay stocks strong, elk stayed in mountain parks delaying feeding and elk shipments to preserves were abandoned. Ten large elk corrals were erected for winter feeding and trapping.
Abner Luman, stockman and president of the State Bank of Pinedale, returned Sunday by auto from Rock Springs after several weeks in California en route to his ranch southwest of Pinedale. He was reported looking and feeling well and enjoyed the winter California memories.
