Suspected Vandal Arrested Over Signal Block Incident

Jake Milleson of Opal was arrested last week and brought before Rosenberg charged with destroying a signal block on the Oregon Short Line railroad. He allegedly damaged the Oak system causing the block to fail and incited a probable derailment risk.

Kemmerer notes Carnahan to Evanston for asylum

Voroner T B Carnahan visited Kemmerer Thursday en route to Evanston with a person to be committed to the asylum. He plans to start work on a new brick home in Kemmerer mid month, with four rooms and potential two more rentals behind Stanley Brauimer’s property. Round Table Conference Educators Meet in Kemmerer

The Round Table Conference of superintendents and principals met amid late train schedules with lectures by Mr Creager and remarks by Sal echoe at Laramie. Lincoln county teachers take state examinations in Kemmerer

About a dozen Lincoln county teachers attended the state examinations in Kemmerer on Friday and Saturday to qualify for certificates. Due to illness of county superintendent Mrs Iva Thomas Irish, her brother Win H Thomas deputy superintendent conducted the exams. Examinations proceeded smoothly with keen interest from participants.
